Story: Wanted more income wasn't ready to have paycheck dictate the life I'm living. Find someone you can resonate with you can grab ideas not the same everyone is doing. Find someone with similar stories, it would be easy to model the right way the people with those views.

You are creating content for people who don't know they need what you are offering

Most people only know the state they are currently in right now (sympton) but they are not aware of the problem that they have

Problem: If someone only depends on paycheck - experience that they can't do the things they want. The paycheck is taking away the way they can live their life. The problem is that they don't have an extra income. It is really powerful . People are scrolling on TikTok, and when they come across your content, they don't know they have the problem, they know the state they are in right now.

Create Problem Aware Content (Most Powerful) - people don't know the problem. If you make them aware of the problem, they are going to pay attention.

What is your avatar going through?

Do not sell the product, sell the transformation

Create 3 types of content:

Solution content to their problem - start talking to your audience

BONUS: 95% of your content will not stand out and that's something you have to live with, but this are the important ones that will grow your community and generate more conversations.

Will grow your community and create more conversations. The goal is generate converations. 90% of viral people will not answer. If you answer a solution with a comment to a problem, most people will answer. So talk directly to your audience providing a solution to a problem.

Combine what is already working with your own story (example) - if I see a video I like, I would twist it, break down, and make in my own way. That would give you more value and people will pay attention. So you want to talk to the camera and generate conversations like that. What were you going through and what were your pain points. 

Be the person you needed when you where just getting started. What were you going through and what were your pain points? 

Batch content with intention

Pick a day and create as many tiktoks as you can using the 3 for 1 system

Repost - If you go viral for the wrong reasons, don't repost the TikTok. If it doesn't do anything for your brand, recommendation is not to repost. The followers you have you want people to not follow you for something trivial. A video that you feel you could do better - redo that.

Use a lot of text on screen, it also increases watch time. (Recommended for 6-7 second videos)

Example: Legendary Marketer is doing the same things. You want to learn. Record loose video. You don't have to be live. Just shoot a lot of content.

Pick 1 main topic in your industry

Break that main idea into 3 subtopics

For extra content pick 1 sub topic and transform it into the main topic and break that into that 3 more sub-topics

Example: Having 1 income source

1. What would happen to you if you lose your job - (Content Strategy: Record this idea in 3 different ways - trending sound, speaking video, high value video. 

3 different ways of creating the same content

1. The importance of having a side hustle
2. Time and financial freedom

Problem of having one income source. You can break that down, then, break down the sub ideas.

From the subtopics we generated from main topics we are going to create:

1 Video with a trending sound and text on the screen

1 Video of you speaking to the camera or voice-over (20 seconds or less)

1 high-value video with you speaking to the camera (60 seconds)

Student Question: When you are doing your speaking videos do you recommend putting a trending sound because I got a copyright streak for having a trending sound on my speaking videos and you lose all your audio.

Coach Ignacio Manuel Answer: I don't use trending sounds for my speaking videos. I was going to try. You will depend on that sound. If you depend on a sound it may get deleted from the app. Sounds come and go. If you record a speaking video, if that sound gets deleted or banned from the app, your video will be muted.

Coach Daniel Chou Question: I'm trying a new strategy. Music with less than 20k videos and betting with those content to go viral. That will take my content will pop - more views more likes, What do you think about that strategy?

Coach Ignacio Manuel Answer: I try to find sounds with less than 10k videos. Not all of them go viral. You have a better chance. You have better chance traction with less than 10k on the song.

Student Question: People have words on the cover photos. Do you have any suggestions for what to put there?

Coach Ignacio Manuel Answer: What I am doing is explaining why people should watch that video. On cover photo for example, how I built a business while working a full time job - text: If you are depending solely on a paycheck and want to build income or earn money on the side watch this video - this is how you build a business while working 40+ hours a week;

Coach Nathan Bokkers Answer: Use questions in the cover photo - Has your boss talked to you like this? Can success be duplicated? You want to earn a trophy in the next 90 days? How long to make $10k? You are basically telling them to watch it in the cover photo

Coach Ignacio Manuel Answer: If they are from a 2nd or 3rd world country, I keep them around. Accept them. It is by choice if you want to accept those leads.

Hook needs to be really good if you are doing a rant. Studies have shown Most videos when I talk, I give 2 second presentation - have this in mind. The hook needs to be good if you are doing a rant because studies have shown after 3-4 seconds if your retention rate is below 50 you are going to lose most of the people by the end of the video. The first 3 seconds are really important. If you have a really good hook. Do a presentation of who you are, what you do, how you felt, how you help or how on that video. Remember most traffic comes from for you page. Create mini presentation from time to time. Videos will land on for you page.

My video - model the right way by taking the concept the video and recreate it. Not point with arrows and text. Grab idea, break it down, deliver it three different ways, then add your twist to it. Main Topic, Hook, Are we adding introduction (2-3s), tackle the main topic after the presentation. That's how you model the right way. You want to have high retention (VIDIQ tells you this information)

Problem aware content - don't talk to a demographic. Talk to the person having the problem. Create content with a problem. Don't single anyone out. Don't try - single moms, single dads, just create content for people with a specific point

The key is to test. Something do well? Double down - who you are talking to, who is your main target. Who you are talking to is very important. Post a testing video to test hashtags. Post videos with purpose - what do I want people to do after they watch this video? Do I want them to follow me? Do I want them to take a look at the video I have? What do I want them to feel? This is when you are sharing you are sharing your story. Why am I sharing my story? When someone sees what you have been through, what you have accomplished, and know your background - they will say this person understands me. They are finding a relatable common ground. You want them to feel something by sharing your story through your content. Share your story, share your background. Example given Serdjim Veli. Serdjim has people that will follow him along the way. He explained his whole story. Show people your transformation.

Use Keywords on the caption of your video, description cover, and talk the words you want to rank for

You want to say the keywords in your video. Add them in your captions.

On TikTok say the keywords in some capacity in your video.

Hashtags - Use SEO keywords on your hashtags. Use your hashtags to target the people your content want to be shown to - for example if I want my content to be seen by auto workers or truck drivers I use those hash tags. I want my content to be seen by those people Nathan: No more trucking Blue collar dads - you want those hashtags to be (if you type how in the search bar; 10k award; not alot of people aren't looking for that. If I use #workingdadsofitktok #howtobuildabusinessonline - those are things people are looking for. Some of my videos went viral without hashtags. So I'm testing both. You just need to test. If you get a new strategy from this slide, don't use it for one week. Use it for at least three weeks. Use the strategy for entire month, that's when you realize if the strategy is working. If you have to give the algorithm time to adjust. Grab one idea and implement it for at least a month. Give the platform time to accomodate. If you don't see results, you modify the strategy. It is all about testing.

Move the result to the beginning of the video

Create a series: pick 1 topic in your industry an dmake a series about that

Make a playlist for your series - Six Part Series: Cut down on talking, get more views, playlists - go into your creator tools on Tik Tok - it should say playlists) Why High Ticket is Low Ticket? Testimonials. Show Winnings - Playlists are very powerful 

Clean the camera from time to time

Lighting does matter - Don't record on shadows. Use some type of light on your face. Just make sure your face is visible

Change backgrounds between cuts to keep the viewer hooked

Camera angles express different things, use them correctly - change angles - if eye level is you are on the same level of viewer. If you shoot with camera up - you are not in control, if you have it low, you are more powerful over people are psychological things expressed using the camera angles.

When you find a sound that you would like to use, like the video so you will know in which context the sound can be used

Incentivize people to comment. Comments and likes are 2 of the most powerful metrics

Save this video" Favourites are something quite knew so make your view save the video

If you see that a video is doing well, then record it again and use the same hashtags and sound

DUETs are not performing super well, so do this: -DEMO Using capcut using overlay feature. Shrinked the video to look like a duet. You can Duet a video to create the same affect. Export the file from Capcut and share to tiktok. Duet feature wasn't working as well, so Capcut TikTok.

Is shadowbanned a real thing?

As long as you see "For you page" in your analytics that means that you arenot shadow banned
BUT account suppression it does exists, an account with over 100 k followers should at least get 1000 views on each video

A lot of followers, lower views

This is something that happens to old accounts. You can have alot of followers but not many views. If you are not being suppressed then something worst is happening. You have a ton of inactive accounts in your followers.

How to target 1st world countries?

1st - tiktok will use the origin of your sim card as a first indicator to where they should show your videos. If tiktok sees you using a vpn they will decrease your reach

2nd - If you are placed in a 3rd world country you CAN reach 1st world countries BUT you have to go viral first, that's how I landed in the United States (Ignacio Miguel is from Argentina)

3rd - You can modify the language of your app and the language of the content you want to see to help the algorithm, but this is proven to work

4th - Test getting a Sim card

How do I block Spam Comments?

Demo - Privacy - go to comments - go to filter keywords and add the keyword you want to block on your comments. If one of those words are commented, you will see a message that says review comments, then you can allow or decline those comments on your video.

Do you increase the quality of your videos?

I don't record on the TikTok App, I use my Camera App and then I edit using either adobe premiere or Capcut

You were talking about putting the keywords in the caption, can we type out the words affiliate words or money?

2 months ago, I would have said don't use #affiliatemarketing. Lately, I have seen videos over 10k views using affiliate marketing. The reason I don't use it as I don't want the algorithm to be put in a cage. I want to be put in general and not one topic. TikTok will put you in a box and you will see all affiliate marketers and content. It's not bad, but its not good either. You are leaving alot of people outside. If you would make my business related and not related to one thing. The reason why is you will evolve as a content creator. I prefer not to. Serdjim rarely talks about affiliate marketing. Talks about commissions, making 3-4 hours per day.

Should I use Money in the words?

Spelling money but put a zero instead of 0.

I have 1500 on my account. I here don't use 1M, use 1M - what is the best advice on the number uses for hashtags?

I rarely use hashtags. I am on testing phase. If I have to, I have less than 10k followers. I use hashtags with less than 50k, 60k. Hashtags are being used for SEO to rank. I have viral videos with no hashtags with original sounds. It makes no sense. It is testing. If you have a smaller tiktoks, I wouldn't use over 5M videos.

How do you determine what caused your video to go viral? You talked earlier about viral. Same on reels? I have one video on reels with 168k views. So how do I figure out or is there a way to look at your analytics so see the caused this one to be viral?

If you show me the video, maybe I can tell, most of the videos - first 3 seconds of the video. If has alot of text on video. How long is the video? 8 seconds. Recorded in TikTok, used the TikText - what was the hook. The first 3 sentences are really important. That is the hook. 8 second, it will get more than average views. The hook will keep people reading. Alot of people are using text on the screen. So, you figure out the sound that has the text is on the screen. The hook will keep people reading. People like manifestation.

What's the best way to repurpose content from tik tok to facebook stories to reels?

If I record something, I record the whole video in TikTok. I tap on the Preview to watch the video, go full screen, I tap on screen recorder (on your phone) so to record the video and to record the sound. Record the whole thing on your phone. Stop. When you record your screen, it will go to your gallery. Open your gallery on your phone, crop if needed. Then I have a new video that isn't on TikTok, and I repost it on Reels

95% of your videos are gonna flop and the other 5% will bring you the followers but is from the 95% that flopped where your fans will come. Tend to be videos where you talk to the camera

Focus on being consistent

Just grow your personal brand. This is the creator community. Try something different. It won't hurt. If you feel uncomfortable.

It has been suggested not to put Link in Bio. So, I have been using LLnk (two L's will that pass?

Try to steer away from TikTok warning messages. When you get a video banned, it is similar to that message.

Is there a way to link a previous video in a comment in Tik Tok?

No, but you can do a video reply.
