As an online business owner, having a clean and organized friends list on Facebook is important. It helps you focus on those who are most likely to buy your products or services, as well as helps you build relationships with potential customers. Plus, it also saves you time by helping you avoid wasting precious energy on non-buyers. In this blog post, we’ll break down the importance of having a clean Facebook friends list and how to quickly and safely clean it without using any software that could potentially harm your account or business.

The Importance of Having a Clean Friends List

When it comes to high-ticket affiliate marketing, time is money. And if you’re wasting time trying to engage with non-buyers, then you’re not maximizing the potential of your business. That’s why every business owner or affiliate marketer needs to have a clean friends list - one that only contains people who are actually interested in what you have to offer. By doing this, not only will you be able to identify prospective customers, but you can also save yourself from spending too much energy engaging with people who don't care about what you do.

How Often Should You Clean Your Friends List?

The answer depends on how often new requests come in and how active your friends list is. Generally speaking though, I recommend cleaning up your friends list daily. It takes just minutes and can help ensure that your list stays organized and relevant at all times.

How To Clean Your Friends List (Without Using Any Software)

There are two simple methods that I recommend when it comes to cleaning up your Facebook friends list without using any software; the Birthday Method and the Old Friends Method (which is only available on mobile).

Birthday Method

This method involves sorting through your friend requests based on their birthdays so that you can quickly identify which ones have been inactive for a certain amount of time (e.g., 3 months).

  • Simply click on “Friends” from the left menu of your profile page
  • Select “Sort by Birthdays” from the dropdown menu at the top right corner of the page
  • Delete those whose birthdays appear further back than a certain period of time (e.g., 3 months).

Old Friends Method (Only On Mobile)

This method involves sorting through your friend requests based on when they were sent so that you can quickly identify which ones have been inactive for a certain amount of time (e.g., 2 weeks).

  • Simply click on “Friends” from the left menu of your profile page, select “Sort By Date Added” from the dropdown menu at the top right corner of the page and
  • Delete those whose added date appears further back than a certain period of time (e.g., 2 weeks).

Monetize: High-Quality Content

In the second part of the process to make money on Facebook, it's important that you come up with a hook - 3-10 pages. And we do mean "creating" because once again nothing should be left out for your content and posts are optimized enough so people will read them! You want to give your ink to people Private - not on the Facebook page. Facebook does not like when you post links to transfer off the platform.

Every Facebook owner has a direct account with Facebook messenger. There are many ways to engage with your customers on the main Facebook page, but one of my favorites is linking them through Messenger. The Facebook algorithm doesn't frown on this. The format for an m.me link looks like this: PAGE-NAME followed by "@" then Messaging App ID where you'll be redirected either back into that specific chat room or onto a new conversation.

💡
For example, my Facebook name is adrianemayes. My messenger name is https://m.me/adrianemayes. If someone puts this in their browser, and they have a Facebook account, they can message you directly.

My 7 figure mentor, in his free training (here is the training link - you have to provide your email to get inside his private FB group), shows real examples of high-quality posts you can model the same. Change Wrap Up

Though it may seem time-consuming and tedious, regularly cleaning your Facebook friends list can have a significantly positive impact on both your reputation as well as business success - particularly when it comes to high-ticket affiliate marketing. By using either the Birthday method or Old Friends method - or both! - you can quickly and easily weed out non-buyers, making more buyers visible in return. So make sure to set some time aside each day to clean up your friend list, so you can continue enjoying the many benefits of an online presence.
