As we twirl down memory lane and relive the spectacular 40-year celebration of the Detroit Chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (Detroit NABJ), we owe a HUGE shoutout to Erin Perry and Felecia Henderson.
The 40th Anniversary chairs are Nicole Avery Nichols, editor-in-chief of Chalkbeat, and Felecia D. Henderson, director of cultural competency for the Maynard Institute for Journalism Education. Chapter members Randye Bullock and Talitha Johnson serve as committee senior advisors.🌟
Their remarkable vision brought small businesses, including the ever-smiling Smile Don’t Blink PhotoBooth, into the spotlight during the grand gala at Motor City Casino.
