As I was setting up the Smile, Don’t Blink Photobooth at the NABJ event, a dynamic presence approached me - the legendary Nicole Avery, co-chair of the event. Recognizing the strength in connections, she introduced me to an opportunity that she believed would align with my interests: GMAR (The Greater Metropolitan Association of Realtors®).

Now, for those unaware, GMAR isn't just any association; it's the largest local Realtor® association in Michigan, boasting over 11,500 members. They offer a plethora of benefits, from community outreach to political advocacy, to continuous media relations and arbitration services. And what separates GMAR from others is their commitment to upholding the highest standards in service.

Nicole invited me to GMAR's Global Initiative Event, and I was floored! Not only would I get the chance to network and learn about international real estate, but Nicole herself would be moderating the discussion. And adding the cherry on top, Adriane Mayes would be there to support the initiative.
